Sigma Delta Pi helps facilitate largest CML festival in Truman’s history

Members of Sigma Delta Pi chapter Rho Rho recently helped facilitate the largest Classical and Modern Languages festival in the history of Truman State University. The day-long event for middle school and high school students from around the Northeast Missouri region featured a variety of cultural and linguistic presentations, games, and displays.

For its part, Sigma Delta Pi organized a number of games designed to engage kids with other cultures. The games included a flag puzzle contest, in which participants had to determine which flag belonged with each country; “Guess the music artist”, including many popular Spanish language¬†musicians like Shakira and Daddy Yankee; and “Loter√≠a.”

Thanks to all who came to help with or participate in this record-breaking day!
